The glimmer of a kinder, gentler Democratic party
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
The Associated Press story making the rounds in Georgia’s newspapers has a telling quote from Jane Kidd, the new chairman of the state Democratic party. The report says Kidd was careful not to criticize her predecessor, Bobby Kahn, who was very much about confronting the GOP at every turn.
“I don’t see that as my mission, to criticize the Republicans,” Kidd said.

Based upon the various comments I have read about Kidd perhaps this Post should read ” The glimmer of a more focused Democratic party.”

Hey Jane, it’s time GA Dem’s make a stand for something??!! Working families? Mass Transit? The environment and GA coastline? Peachcare? More state troopers on the road and a crackdown on safe teen driving? And if that means calling out Repub’s loudly in public, then do it. GA Dem’s are losers becasue they don’t stand for anything, Jane. Period.

Wait a second, Mr. Clueless, folks are asking for less criticism and more focus on work, and you criticize Ms. Kidd for doing so? C’mon, Ms. Kidd is a class act in a sea of scum under the gold dome. She is a gem and we should appreciate that kind of integrity, not criticize it!
