Remember Brian? Taylor has him explain Perdue’s land deal
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
The $100,000 tax break that accompanied Gov. Sonny Perdue’s Florida land deal made it onto TV last night, in a 30-second spot by Democratic rival Mark Taylor.
The Big Guy uses the sound from a WAOK talk show in which Perdue is asked by a caller how others might go about getting the same. “You get yourself elected governor, Brian,” was Perdue’s famous reply. For details, go to our Sept. 13 posting.
See the TV clip here.

Why would anybody enter politics except for what money they could squeeze out of the taxpayer with Perdue knowing best.

Compared to the slimy mailers that Perdue has sent out, this is tame.
Perdue has an acid tongue, it’s time the voters knew about it.

I have doubts about anybody such as Perdue who would speak in Jerry Falwell’s pulpit unless they were trying to convert the membership to true Christianity and its condemnation of unjust war—but I guess he was just “preaching” to the choir already “saved” instead of “being saved”. Does Falwell’s Church have kneelers? I’ve noticed an absence of them in several pews of some Churches I have visited lately! Too good I guess to knell in the pew now? But then again I guess Falwell doesn’t wash feet either! Too ole timey Jesus for Falwell!

What I’m noticing is that Taylor has run out of ideas that resonate with voters. When will we see an add that explains how he is going to pay for all of his promises. Ever since S.P. came out with tax breaks for seniors Taylor has been quiet except for the land deal. I guess people are forgetting Taylor’s daddy leasing land deals.

Using your analgy, I don’t see how Sonny says how he’s going to pay for his “tax break for Seniors”, which again is limited to “rich” Seniors from what I understand.

I think of Sonny every day when I am commuting on 285. There are often more trucks than cars. The outer perimiter would have taken a lot of traffic from 285, but nooo. The former democrat cancelled the project to get a few votes. Everyday I’m in the thick of the slow 285 traffic I say outload - Sonny did this! On election day - I just hope I can make it in time to my polling place to vote against him, but I’m afraid I’ll be stuck in traffic. Maybe that was his plan all along.

NoAmerican Taliban, the state was in debt 500million and your tax would have jump 2mil. Barnes and Taylor would have made ???? of the land deals???? and alot of good people would have lost their homes. If you don”t like the ride get another job close to home or move. Thanks to Sonny the state is now 450 million in the Black.
