The dance card is filling up fast….
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Elections are like the perforation line on a paper towel. Now matter how fast you rip one section off the roll, you always get a piece of the next one.
No matter how quickly you rip through the ‘06 races, you’re bound to tear off a piece of ‘08.
Friday, Massachussetts Gov. Mitt Romney is down here, somewhere, to help raise money for Casey Cagle, the Republican candidate for lieutenant governor. We know not whether he’ll meet with reporters. No doubt he’s busy, and the air is filled with certain questions national Republican leaders would rather not be asked just now.
On Monday, look for U.S. Sen. John McCain, another presidential wannabe, to show up at another fund-raiser for Cagle. Look for Ralph Reed not to be there. Look for Cagle not to endorse either of these guys for president.
On Tuesday, President Bush pops into Macon on behalf of Mac Collins, the GOP ex-congressman who’s trying to unseat U.S. Rep. Jim Marshall.
And on the Democratic side of the equation, we note that U.S. Rep. John Lewis, who is unopposed this season, will host former President Bill Clinton at his home on Oct. 20. The minimum $1,000-a-head luncheon is on behalf of other Democratic congressional candidates.
If memory serves, Clinton’s got something in Savannah that same day.

Better to have someone with too much semen spread on one’s side than to have one with too much blood shed on one’s side!

The blood on George W. Bush’s hands and the lies from his and his henchmen’s lips combined with the hatred he has incurred for this great nation from all over the free world that he has constantly misled makes him indeed Dubya—-W—-the absolute WORST PRESIDENT in the history of the United States of America. Is this nation so beholden to sin that we are getting what we deserve in his misleadership?

Will be interesting to see if while Clinton is in Savannah, John Barrow is mysteriously out of town.

Hey, David Franklin - you really should get treatment. There’s medication out there that can help you deal with your rage.

Hey JAMES—maybe that’s the intent of this Bush administration to stop the outrage against his tyranny—just as the British did in the Opium Wars in China—by drugging the United States into submission to tyranny. Hey ole boy—looks like you are the one who needs maybe an eye checkup so you can see or read about the lies and blood of the Bush tyranny. What an OUTRAGE Bush II is!

JAMES the first—[I agree with James the second]—are you suggesting that I follow in the footsteps of our President in using his former drug of choice—cocaine-snorting— or his druggie niece’s illegal use of legal drugs as convicted in Florida?

sorry for the sloppy typing—George W. Bush’s unjust Iraqi War has now lasted longer than our involvement in WW II—more money sent there that could have saved both social security and medicare—and all we have for it is a captured Saddam Hussein—Osama still free with no Iraqi connection to 9/11 nor weapons of mass destruction. What we do have is a morass of continual sectarian bloodshed of innocent American soldiers and Iraqi lives. WE SHOULD INDEED CUT AND RUN NOW!

Mr. President as a former supporter of your war in Iraq listen to your former generals ie. Franks and get out of this unnecessary war TODAY as not one more US life is worth losing in this struggle in which according to FOX NEWS they do not know the difference between the Bagdad police and the sectarian warriors against us.
