According to the AJC—State Senator Nancy Schaefer is pro Scientologist which does not sit well with her conservative traditional valus voters in the NE Georgia Mountains who are aghast at her religious turnaround.

RE:Poll shows Cagle ahead of Martin
Cagle has 42% Hmm…last time I checked it still took 50% plus one vote to win. Casey has NEVER reached out to the Reed people to help him win. I know he isn’t getting my vote, I haven’t decided if I’ll give it to Jim Martin…or just not vote in that race. After this poll, I am inclined to vote for Martin. My choice is a known liberal or a known liar. Personally, I have just never cared for liars in my party.

There is another choice. Allen Buckley, Libertarian. I plan on voting GOP except for David Chastain and Allen Buckley.
Cagle and his people are arrogant asses. It is too late for them to reach out to anyone. Can’t wait until the ads start. I hear Martin has some REAL good ones planned for Cagle.

Yeah, sure…voting Libertarian as Mr. Conservative suggests would be real smart! Don’t people understand politics…? Building the numbers for a for-sure-loser only helps Casey. If the undecideds vote for Martin…there is more of a chance we can avoid “liar-liar” Casey Cagle. Martin can’t do any harm as Lt. Gov…the Republicans will still be in charge of the Senate.
(By the way, a vote for a Liberetarian is like a vote for the Al Qaeda. They do not believe in protecting us.)

I don’t understand why Casey Cagle would be on the top of this list. He supports passenger rail for the metro area, which is more than many other republicans in this state and more than rural legislators for sure. Passenger Rail support is more important to the enviornment than almost any other issue. Sierra Club should rethink this list.

Mae,
Casey Cagle has spent his entire Senate career doing the bidding of developers. He is the champion of allowing our streams a creeks to be piped. He can’t undo that with last minute support for commuter rail.

Is this list posted on the Internet? I’d like to see why the SC has named my rep.

Regarding State Senator Nancy Schaefer— how can such a professing Christian be pro Scientologist and so anti environmental. This poor woman has a badly warped view of the faith she seems to profess. Just as her slate of Commisioners fell who opposed regulatory legislation—so will she come November 7 as people all over her district mark their ballots for the undefeated former State Senator Carol Jackson—a woman of true Christian integrity!
