It’s this bad: Florida’s only No. 10
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
The liberal mag, Mother Jones, is out this month with its list of America’s worst places to vote, based on discriminatory practices, machine foul-ups, etc.
We’re No. 1!
For some reason, the article singles out Atlanta rather than Georgia at large, but what it’s really getting at is the mandatory photo ID law, which it refers to as “The New Poll Tax.
Dan Tokaji, associate director of election law at Ohio State’s law school, calls the law, which won U.S. Justice Department approval over staff objections, part of “an orchestrated voter-suppression by less-scrupulous strategists in the Republican Party.
Wisconsin and Missouri have passed similar laws, the article notes, although the Wisconsin Gov. Jim Doyle vetoed the legislation.

I can’t say why our city was singled out, but I certainly know why our state was singled out. Everyone here votes on a Diebold system.
This morning several Princeton researchers announced the findings of their extensive research and surprise, surprise, these devices can be easily hacked and supplied with a program that will steal votes. They have a great video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lwWP-N1HqT0
that EVERY concerned voter should watch that shows exactly what someone needs to do to impact the election.
That damn stupid jerk Cox saddled us with these joke devices an in return they didn’t even bother to steal the election for her. I guess they were just interested in getting Sonny elected.
Nobody in Georgia should vote again until these machines are replaced.
Most of us already knew this however. We were called idiots. Ha.
Control by the Nazis is now assured.

Mr Liberty,
Your alarm is out of place. Since the Republicans control the Diebold effort, we are assured of having the correct candidates elected every time. No longer need we worry that “the people” might assert their will and elect the wrong candidate. Our Democracy is safe!

Because of that darn voter ID thing, it’s going to be harder for illegal aliens and deceased voters to participate in our elections.

Oh this is HORRIBLE. You mean you actually have to PROVE who you SAY you are when voting? Oh, the humanity! I guess the Democrats can’t pay off people to vote multiple times under false names or dead people anymore!

As a new voter and election worker in Florida I am amazed they do not complain about a picture I.D. that is required to vote. Each voter must have a picture I.D. with a signature and nobody sues. What is the difference between the states?

Great source guys, Mother Jones magazine…If you bothered to read the article, you would have discovered that it’s wrong. The VoterId bill that they talk about isn’t the current VoterId bill.

But why didn’t the legislature attempt to cut fraud in absentee voting. That’s a bigger problem that the problem they suppposedly fixed.
