A familiar looking sign

Every election has a few sign flaps, and this one wouldn’t be worth a mention if it didn’t involve a corporate logo and the secretary of state race.

Driving to work Tuesday morning, Randy Lewis says he spotted his first Gail Buckner sign. He and his partner in a public relations firm, Sandy Fitzpatrick, say they immediately identified the logo on the sign as identical to the one they paid a graphic artist to design for two websites they publish, the Georgia Daily Digest and Georgia Political Digest.

Lewis sent a letter to Buckner Wednesday, but the former legislator, who finished first in Tuesday’s Democratic primary and faces Darryl in a runoff, said she’d already ordered the signs to be pulled.

Buckner said her printer, who produced the sign, thought the logo was in the public domain, but she wasn’t going to contest the issue, and would change to a new yard sign. Running for an office that handles incorporations and such, this isn’t an issue you want to linger.

I dont buy their explanation for a second. People are hacks. They steal material all day long and pass it off as their own work. Comics, artists, screenplays, choreography, ads…etc. People want to matter so badly that they are willing to pose as someone else. I wrote some jokes for my standup act, and they ended up in Robin William’s act, passed on from comic thief to comic thief. Talent is so rare that any original idea is diluted by a thousand grubby hands within a short period of time. They should prosecute this person to the fullest extent of the law, and make an example of the hack. He belongs behind bars. I SAID THE PRINTER BELONGS BEHIND BARS!!!

Cynthia McKinney, a black, African-American, female congresswoman should win, but if she dont, it’s only because she got singled out by voters as a black, African-American female congresswoman as she’ll explain if she can find a microphone that’s turned on at the right time.

George Bush warned Israel not to target the Embryonic Storage Facility during their slaughter/bombardment of the Lebanese. Stem Cells are safe, but Lebanese are fodder for cannons. So are arabs living in Iraq. Notice how our army has never bombed an embryonic storage facility in Iraq? You have to admire the family values it took to resist blowing up all the frozen embryos to hell in a hand basket. George Bush is the high priest of the American Taliban, and it’s only a shame that he cant run for a third term.

A familiar looking sign yes, but why not put Darryl last name in print. It’s Darryl Hicks for those that do not know who Buckner is running against. Thanks

Dear Runoff Predictions,

McKinney and her supporters have done enough to alienate the Jewish population, which makes up a sizable amount of her Democratic constituency. You are an IDIOT for making such antagonistic remarks and reminding everyone of McKinney’s IDIOTIC anti-Israeli stance during her campaign.
