In the end, the only winners are the bookstores
But is it the battle over the bottle blonde, or the bottle over the battle blonde?
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
State Rep. Rob Teilhet (D-Smyrna) has added his voice to the chorus of those chiding Republicans and conservatives for their coziness with best-selling author and professional quotebox Ann Coulter.
Teilhet e-mailed a letter Friday calling on Georgia Christian Coalition chairman Sadie Fields to cancel Coulter’s invitation to speak at the group’s annual fund-raiser in September.
Teilhet, a Democrat married to Gov. Sonny Perdue’s press secretary, reminded Fields of Coulter’s many controversial remarks, including her latest about the group of 9/11 widows who forced a federal investigation into the terror attacks. Coulter said they’ve taken too much pleasure in their new lives as single women.
“The list of her divisive, hateful, and decidedly un-Christian statements and policy positions is too long to recite here,” Teilhet wrote.
Fields said Coulter is still invited.
“I’m certainly not going to be lectured about my Christian values by Representative Teilhet, who was one of the handful who voted against the [gay] marriage amendment,” Fields said.

Now that al-Zaqawi is dead, AJC is focusing on a new “terrorist” target—Ann Coulter. Luckovich has outdone himself with his slime cartoon. The political insiders are also happy to report on the “battle of the bottle blond” who shots so straight that Democrats can’t duck fast enough. Scares ‘em.
So steadfast(read pompous) Democrat, Rob Teilhef, wants Coulter withdrawn as a speaker at a Georgia Christian Coalition meeting. “Divisive, hateful and unChristian” he declares of Coulter.
If Teilhef put these “standards”to Democratic output, vocal and printed, there would be very little information coming from liberal Democrats. Just read the Luckovich blog and smell the aroma if you have a strong stomach. Teilhef’s standards would leave the ml blog with few comments. Wooten’s conservative blog is already beginning to get weighted with Democratic”unpleasantries”.
So Coulter should be banned because she displays the underbelly of the Democratic Party. It isn’t pretty. If the Democrats would come up with a program that even sounds like it supports the country and our military, Americans might listen. They might not need or want a Coulter to display all the political whackos.
In the meantime, free speech prevails, giving Democrats the power to stifle themselves.

Ann Coulter is fast becoming Supreme Court Justice material. These petty and small minded hateful attacks on her by lefty pinkos are simply driven by envy and fear of her astute, sardonic observations about their own party of hate - Kennedy, Schumer, Dingy Harry Reid, Shrillary et al.
Coulter’s books are meticulously researched, her lampooning of the liberal left is always excellent entertainment. Her trenchant rhetoric is never anything like as toxic or poisonous or off the mark factually as the humourless neanderthals infesting the failing slush fund joke that is Dead Air America. The average far left blogs - like Huffington are filled daily with Goebbels’s like baiting of Bush and Cheney et al.
The intellectual dishonesty of the left is essentially moral fascism - its OK if we sneer at you conservatives using outrageous smears etc but the second a conservative hands it back - the preverbial hypocritical liberal stuck pig squeals into view.
Coulter simply pointed out an undeniable, despicable fact - the pinkos now have sunk to the amoral depths of frequently trotting out lefty victims that hide behind personal tragedy whilst parroting Bush hate or anti-GOP propaganda - thereby supposedly innoculating them from any legitimate, obvious critique of their pinko tactic. BEEN FOUND OUT NOW - AINT YA!! BIG SMIRK
Legitimate criticism and fair speech is one thing but the crazed Bush hater Sheehan and these odious millionaire Jersey Girls who campaigned for the thankfully defeated home movie camera toting band aid warrior-hero Kerry- among others -are perfectly fair game once they make their lefty views (repeatedly) public!!

Oh THAT’S a good one…trotting out ‘victims’? Try having campaign commercials and fundraising letters using 9/11 images and descriptions. The GOP made an industry out of exploiting tragedy. The sad part is that the man behind THAT tragedy is still at large all while we went after a guy who wasn’t even involved. Now we trot out someone who conveniently makes gutless comments at the time her book comes out to sell more copies. Funny…five years after 9/11 and years after these women have taken their stand, Coulter finally decides to comment on it? Her timing is impeccable. BEEN FOUND OUT NOW-AIN’T YA???

I say let’s elect Ann Coulter President. She’s got more balls than any of the men in Washington. Most of those pansies don’t have any. (Very few among Republicans and NONE among Democrats) What really p** off the liberal crowd is that she has the nerve to defy the silly politically correct bunch and tell them to GO TO HELL!!! Then they just do their usual whining because she makes them look like the total idiots that they are.

Rep Rob Teilhet and all the liberals just keep proving her point. Not one liberal has complained about the title of her book: “Godless: The Church of Liberalism”.
