Whupping up on Cathy Cox
An Internet ad is intended to keep the the gay-marriage pot roiling
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Lt. Gov. Mark Taylor’s crew says it has nothing to do with it, but another Internet ad is floating through the atmosphere, accusing Cathy Cox of flip-flopping on gay marriage. The title is “Cathy Chameleon Cox.”
Now that we think of it, the hit comes 24 hours after the state Republican party put out a press release on Cox, with the same theme. And it closes with a snippet that rips off a “Peanuts” cartoon: “You say the cutest things.” That’s a put-down that a Democrat might avoid, if he wants the female vote.
Here’s the link.
Postscript: After perusing youtube.com, fairness dictates that we offer you more.
Here’s a parody of Governor Perdue’s “Sonny Did” introductory ad.
And here’s a rather crude one on Democrat Mark Taylor. Best line? “More governor for the pound”.
Again, all authors are unknown. The Interent is convenient that way.

Harold can’t wait until gay marriage is ruled unconstitutional.
Then Harold will declare himself gay, have his marriage to his wife annulled since it is illegal for a gay to be married, and walk away with everything Harold ever earned including the house and cars.
She can walk the streets and try to make her own darn money for once! Since Harold’s marriage to her will never have existed, she ain’t gonna get a dime!
Thank you Christian Coalition!!!!!

This ad tries to take advantage of the misinformed viewer who may assume that a civil union and marriage are the same thing. To an informed viewer it would be understandable that Cathy Cox could support a civil union while not supporting gay marriage. A civil union would provide equal treatment for gays under our laws. A marriage, however, is often tied to the religious beliefs of a church or individual.

I am Richard Bates. I created the “Sonny Did” video. It is erroneous to say “all authors unknown” and might lead people to think I am not proud of my work or I am hiding from the wrath of those who may be offended. Quite to the contrary, I am pleased with the video and the response to it has been 100% positive (to date). Anyone who wishes to contact me, berate me, encourage me, or sue me may contact me through batesoft.net or email richard @batesoft.net.

The Fat Guy versus The Church Lady? Which one snorted cocaine? Which one’s son proved to be a chip off the old block by killing someone in a DUI? Which one’s daddy is buying dirt bomb campaign hit ads? I’ll take the classy lassie over Pork Chop any day of the week.

In reference to the recent AJC poll showing Mark Taylor with only a 7 point lead over Cathy Cox, what happened to that whopping lead Mark Taylor’s Seacrest poll had him at? Was it bogus? Were they lying to us or has he tubed like a fart in a spacesuit in only 1 week?

Yeah I’ve been wondering about that big 21 point lead that Taylor claimed that he had over Cox. The latest poll isn’t great news for Cox. But if that Seacrest poll was accurate as some here claimed, then it doesn’t say much for Mark Taylor’s campaign either. Should Marky Mark ask for his money back? Or did they just lie?
