Herman Cain diagnosed with cancer
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Herman Cain, the former U.S. senate candidate and the former CEO of Godfather’s Pizza, has been diagnosed with colon cancer, a spokeswoman for Cain said this morning.
“The guy’s a fighter and he’s going to be fine,” said Ericka Pertierra, his chief of staff. “He’s trying to figure out how to do the radio show from the bed.”
Cain, 60, learned of the diagnosis “a couple weeks ago” and is scheduled for surgery later this month at a hospital in Houston, she said. Doctors said the cancer was caught at an early stage.
Cain was one of three Republican candidates in the 2004 race for U.S. Senate. The Henry County resident came in second with 26 percent of the vote, behind U.S. Rep. Johnny Isakson but ahead of U.S. Rep. Mac Collins.
Currently, Cain is a motivational speaker, and has a weekly radio show on WSB (750 AM). His web site is here.

Mr. Cain, I hope you fight through this like I figure you will and I hope to one day address you as Senator Cain. I was a strong supporter in South West Atlanta during your last go at it and am eager to support you again.

Good Luck mate … all the best
I hope if you read these posts all these good thoughts will help you through this difficult time. I’m sure everyone in the country hopes you make a speedy and complete recovery.
My next door neighbour (a Korean Vet) had his entire colon removed in December 05 - hopefully you wont need that - but he’s OK now and is pretty active for 70+ years of age.
America urgently needs millions more sound black conservatives like yourself. I dont quite share your very robust pro-life views but its wonderful to see you completely reject liberal dogma.

Cain is a hero among heros. Although he is constantly chastised by the radical (black) left in this nation, he has broken free of the chains of the liberal democratic indoctrination plantation and become a true (nearly Libertarian) Conservative.
God bless you Mr. Cain, and don’t let those mindless race pimps like Al Sharptongue and Jesse JackSUN dictate your true inner feelings. You have broken free from the mold of being a political race prisoner by the left in this nation. May many more follow in your footsteps.

All I wanted to say is that three years ago I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon cancer that metastasized to the liver. Every time I think I have it beat, it seems to come back. But, every time is comes back, it is different and the doctors have an answer for all of its manifestations (so far). So keep the faith, fight the good fight and don’t let your spirits go down. I am working in Charlotte, NC and Commuting from home in NJ. Cancer hasn’t stopped me or Tony Snow. It shouldn’t stop you. You will be remembered in my prayers.

May the spead of God’s healing hand be upon you. Hebrews 11 says that “Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen.” I know your faith will manifest in the evidence of the unseen. Just look for it!

Herman, I was sorry to read that you have colon cancer. The bad news is always that cancer exists, but the good news is that they found yours early. I know that you are a man of faith and that your prayers and mine to Jehova Rapha, the God of healing, will be answered and you will be restored to full health and we will have the pleasure of supporting you again in a run for the Senate or any other office you choose. God bless you and know that there are many people praying for your healing.

Although sometimes you feel lonely, and you feel that you just can’t go on, you are so distressed and so down and out you don’t think that you can weather this storm, the clouds have never seemed this black before, you have never ever seen this much rain, your soul is so heavy and burdened down with the awful agony of life’s pain, you long for someone to talk to but it seems there is no one there, you continue to sink deeper and deeper into the dark, dark waters of despair, so now here you are at your lowest, you are just about to say “I give up”, but just when you’re about to say those words that big beautiful sun comes up, in life one thing is for certain, storm clouds they will erupt but remember that you can weather any storm and you must never ever give up. Written by: Charlie Grant III May God Bless you.

Mr. Cain;
Through the agencies of nature God is working, day by day, hour by hour, moment by moment, to keep us alive, to build up and restore us. When any part of the body sustains injury or sickness, a healing process is at once begun; nature’s agencies are set at work to restore soundness. But the power working through the agencies is the power of God…When one recoves from disease, it is God who restores him. The true remedies are G.O.D.’S P.L.A.N….Godly trust, Open Air, Daily Exercise, Sunshine, Proper Rest, Lots of Water, Always Temperate, Nutrition…..Try God’s Healing Way!

Herman, I met Herman at the 4th of July when he was running for Senator in Marietta. At first I doubted him, but I voted for him anyway. He would have made a better Senator than the one he lost to. I wish him good luch with his recovery and hope he runs again for Senator.

I first worked with herman Cain when he backed Bob Irvin for US Senate in 2002. Politics aside, he has always been a class act and a voice of reason. He is a role model in all aspects and has overcome everything thrown at him. He can overcome this as well and he is in my family’s thoughts and prayers.

Herman, I consider you my mentor and my friend and was very sad to hear that you have this illness attaching your body, but I remembered the words of inspiration you’ve shared with me from our personal conversations, your books and your sermons. Keep the Faith and continue to press toward the mark of the high calling of Jesus Christ. May God continue to smile on you during your healing process. Get well soon.
God Bless,

Mr. Cain, it is so unfortunate that any one get labeled with this disease…my wife was in 1999. I’m glad that they found yours in time. With the advancements medicine has made in the last years and you praising God first in everything and keeping a positive attitude, you should do well. I’m praying that God will strengthen you and your family and heal you of your wounds.
