The rest of us would be yelling “yahoo,” “whee” and “yipee” if all those cars in the picture were filled with illegals, headed back to Mexico (and no, I’m NOT talking about LEGAL immigrants, who have a reason to put down roots and build a new life here). Let’s face it, Gwinnett lacks only ONE thing to restore itself to its former desirability — ENFORCE THE LAW.

Gwinnett county: A Commercial Experiment Gone Terribly Awry. If only the whole county could be lifted from the red clay of Georgia and shipped off to another state or country that needs or wants traffic, every chain retailer and restaurant, and cookie cutter sub-divisions. Gwinnett: a terrible place to visit.

We need to change Gwinnett’s name to “little Mexico!! - due to all of the illegals!” Shame on our law enformenct and county for NOT ENFORCING OUR LAWS!! It is an injustice - but we see plenty of them out there writing tickets!!!!! WHY NOT ENFORCE EVEN MORE SERIOUS LAWS???? The county would “lose money? - you betcha!!!!”……

All of the previous posters are most likely NON Gwinnettians. Gwinnett is still great and I’ll continue to be a long-time resident. Thanks DOT for the 316 interchange upgrade!

I agree, the previous posters know nothing about Gwinnett. It’s a great place to live and thanks to this upgrade of 316, my one hour drive is now only 40 minutes. Thanks DOT!

If I could sell my house in DeKalb, I would have moved to Gwinnett a long time ago. Gwinnett makes news for having a homicide rate of 41, while DeKalbs homicide count thus far for the year is 87. Gwinnett is great…DeKalb stinks BIG TIME.

To all of the envious drivers on 75 and 285, please stop hating on Gwinnett. My drive from Suwanee to downtown was slashed by 20 minutes thanks to the new 316 exchange. Thank you Gwinnett County and GDOT!!

Seems like someone drunk some haterade instead of their regular cup of Joe this morning. This 316/85 upgrade is outstanding. I actually drove over the bridge going 60 MPH…in the past, it was 15 MPH. THANK YOU!!
