Marietta man dies in Cobb wreck

A Marietta man who was speeding in the early morning hours of Labor Day died after veering into oncoming traffic in Cobb County.
Police say Glen E. Jolissaint, 25, was headed north on Barrett Parkway just south of Macland Road in Powder Springs at about 1:35 a.m. Monday when he lost control of his white 1999 Chevrolet Lumina, crossing the raised median and colliding with a tan 2000 Hyundai Sonata.
The Sonata driver, Sonia Jeffrey, 36, of Douglasville, suffered non-life threatening injuries, according to a press release by Cobb County Police.
Jolissaint was taken by medical helicopter to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
