Respiratory therapist arrested on sex charges

A respiratory therapist at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital has been arrested by Marietta police on sexual assault charges.
Two patients of Eugene Ellis, 56, of Acworth complained that while being treated for respiratory ailments, Ellis fondled their pelvic region, Marietta police spokesman Mark Bishop said.
The alleged incidents occurred on May 12 and June 21 at the Marietta hospital.
Ellis was being Friday in the Cobb County Adult Detention Center on two felony counts of sexual assault.
