Gwinnett County police Friday were investigating an early morning shooting at a Duluth restaurant that left one man dead and another wounded.
The shooting occurred about 3:20 a.m. at the International House of Pancakes on Pleasant Hill Road, according to Gwinnett police Cpl. Darren Moloney.
Responding officers found two adult males with gunshot wounds. Both victims were taken to Gwinnett Medical Center, where one died. The second victim is expected to survive, Moloney said.
Moloney said the shooting apparently took place inisde or near the entrance to the restaurant, as the front glass door was damaged.
Investigators had not released a motive for the shooting and had made no arrests.
The identities of the victims had not been determined, Moloney said.
