Rental stores burglarized

Atlanta police Friday were investigating the overnight burglaries of four rental stores in southwest Atlanta.
The burglars struck the Aaron’s Sales & Lease Ownership store at 2973 Headland Drive and Rent-A-Center stores at 853 Oak Street, 2636 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and 3050 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.
Atlanta police spokesman Eric Schwartz said the suspects took electronics items such as televisions and radios.
Police were looking for a white four-door Ford Contour and a green Ford Explorer in connection with the burglaries, which took place between 1:40 a.m. and 3:30 a.m. Friday.
