A Jonesboro massage parlor that closed in December was raided again Wednesday after police discovered it reopened several weeks ago, officials said.
Rainbow Spa was one of 13 spas closed by police who said they were fronts for houses of prostitution. Clayton County Deputy Chief Assistant District Attorney John Turner said police learned about three weeks ago the spa had reopened.
“The officers went back and got solicited for sex again,” Turner said.
Turner said police were told to charge spa managers, owners and workers with racketeering. Immigration officials are also expected to investigate, he said.
Clayton District Attorney Jewel Scott is expected Thursday to announce the filing of civil racketeering charges against the owners of the 13 spas closed in December, Turner said.
