Restaurant employee killed in robbery

A teenage restaurant employee was shot dead during a robbery in the Snellville area Tuesday night.
By the time Gwinnett police responded to a call of an armed robbery in progress at Mr. Egg Roll in the 3300 block of Centerville Highway, the 18-year-old employee had already been shot.
The two robbers, both men in their 20s, ran away from the restaurant with an undisclosed sum of money following the robbery about 9 p.m., said Gwinnett police Cpl. Darren Moloney.
The victim’s name was withheld until his relatives were informed.
