2 charged in tattoo artist’s death

Atlanta police have arrested a man and a woman wanted in the murder of a tattoo artist last year.
Denarryl Head, 27, and Miche Hunt, 25, were taken into custody at the Ramada Inn in College Park on Tuesday, the department said in a release.
The victim, Dwight Smith, 24, was shot at a residence in the 2500 block of Godfrey Drive on Nov. 24.
Authorities said he was performing tattoo work on a man at the time, while a group of people watched the procedure.
Smith was shot in the head when one of the men in the group tried to rob him and he fought back, authorities said.
He died from his injuries Dec. 6.
