Atlanta police Thursday released the names of two suspects arrested in connection with Tuesday night’s fatal shooting of a convenience store clerk on Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway.
Zerit Haileslasie, 39, of Lilburn was shot several times, at least once in the head, Atlanta police spokesman Joe Cobb said. Haileslasie later died at Grady Memorial Hospital.
Police arrested Rickey Moore, 53, and Regina Ann Roberts, 46, shortly after the 10:45 p.m. robbery.
Moore and Roberts, both of Atlanta, face charges of being a party to the crimes of murder, armed robbery and aggravated assault. They are being held in the Fulton County Jail.
Cobb said a warrant has been obtained for a third suspect, who investigators believe actually shot the Shell station clerk. That suspect’s name was being withheld while the police Fugitive Unit searches for him, Cobb said.
