A 49-year-old man was found dead Tuesday night at a residence in Atlanta, the apparent victim of carbon monoxide poisoning.

Police said Larry Fluellen was using a large generator indoors to run appliances in his residence in the 1000 block of Dill Avenue. The generators produce carbon monoxide and are supposed to be used outdoors or in well-ventilated areas.

The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office will conduct an autopsy Wednesday.
