Brother, sister charged in robbery

A brother and sister appeared before a federal magistrate judge, charged with robbing a postal worker at knifepoint.
Authorities said Donate Antonio White, 29, fought with and robbed the carrier while he was delivering mail on his normal route Saturday afternoon in Decatur.
His sister, Demetrice Latrice White, 22, was the getaway driver, the United States Postal Inspection Service said.
They were arrested the same day by postal inspectors, said Yulanda Burns, spokeswoman for the inspection service.
If convicted, the pair can be sentenced to up to 25 years in prison, Burns said.
