A man and a woman were killed in southwest Atlanta Saturday night after a shooting that also left a child injured.

About 9:45 p.m. Saturday, Willie James Terrell went to the apartment in the 2600 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and got into an argument with the resident, Tenisha Johnson, 25.

Johnson and a friend, Anthony Thomas, 23, of Jonesboro, were both killed. A stray bullet hit Johnson’s child, 13-month-old Kenyon D. Turney, in the arm. The child was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital and was in stable condition.

Police charged Terrell with two counts of murder.
