Homeland Insecurity
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
I was channel-surfing last night when I came across the Lou Dobbs Show. He had a segment on the E-verify system, the government’s most effective program against illegal immigration.
It allows employers to check and see if workers are eligible to work in the United States. The program, according to Dobbs, has a 99 percent accuracy rate. Verification results from the Internet-based system are available in seconds.
Well, E-verify is set to expire.
Congress has stripped language from the stimulus package that would continue funding for the program. Monday night, Mr. Dobbs asked viewers to contact their representatives and tell them to save E-verify.
Now you know, if you didn’t already.

It may be the most effective, but it’s the least used. Tools only work if you use them. That means you Mr. “I-can-pay-an-illegal-immigrant-a-lot-less-money-than-I-can-pay-a-taxpayer.”
I think the CEOs of this country would happily sell to the highest bidder - are you listening, China? - as long as their severance packages and stock options were maintained. In their eyes, “Made in the USA” is only a label that identifies the shipping destinations for returns.

Blubbering Badie strikes out again.
Again, he refuses to mention Obama and the Democrats complicity in the funding being removed for E-verify. Surprise Surprise.
The poll question is:
Do you believe the Obama Administration and the Congressional democratic leadership are working to effectively end immigration law enforcement in this country?
Obama and the Communists, err I mean Democrats, purposefully stripped this from the bill.
Has the Obama buyers remorse set in yet?

I actually did already know this Rick but thanks to you for putting it out there so that others can make the calls or contacts. This is more important than ever with this stimulus package having so many contractor type jobs and we all know that a lot of illegals work in that field. The jobs created need to go to Americans for obvious reasons but to also keep the money earned here in the good ole USA.

ATTENTION! E-Verify is likely to be voted on this afternoon. Remember American Workers jobs at Stake and the open-border, anti-sovereignty bunch led by Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV) is going to kill it, if we don’t bombard his phones.
Call every Senator, Congressman until they listen to irate citizens and legal residents. His Stimulus bill is already giving away 300 construction jobs, to illegal aliens through a possible loophole.
E-Verify is the most powerful asset we have to halt parasite employers from stealing jobs from Americans. Contractors on construction site seeing an extra dollar they can make from hiring an illegal worker. If we only enforce our immigration laws—threaten company executives with prison, the millions unable to find employment will go home.
Visa over-stayers and border jumpers will find it impossible to live here. Help ICE and report suspicious activity in the workplace. Demand E-verify TODAY. Don’t procrastinate? Call the Capitol: (202) 224-3121 Call Harry Reid: 202.224.3542 and 202.224.5556 Call President Obama: 202-456-1111.

I’ve never heard of the program or heard of anyone using it. My guess is it was a concept that never got any traction. Company’s do not want to limit hiring people really cheap. That’s why we have this problem to begin with. Question of the day - how long does it take an illegal alien to figure out they are getting seriously underpaid compared to regular citizens for the same job? Answer - non hablo Englais.

Brucie “It’s Useless, Curl Up In A Ball, Suck Your Thumb and Cry” Wilcox prefers the Neville Chamberlain way of handling things.
Which is why Hitler took Poland.
The only time Brucie is quiet is when his mouth is full. Usually with illegal Mexican chorizo behind the Quik Trip on Singleton.

LT, you’re a moron. “Congress has stripped language from the stimulus….” Congress is controlled by Democrats, is it not? Or maybe you didn’t know that. And Obama doesn’t have anything to do with funding.
I would say you were bucking for Hannity’s job, or Limbaugh’s job, but one must have a modicum of intelligence to do the job. Copy-paste won’t do it for ya. Nor will the (in)ability to come up with snide nicknames like “Blubbering Badie” - which may cause little puddles of pee under your computer chair when you squeal with delight at your sense of humor, while the rest of us groan at your banal inanities.
Alfred E. Neuman you ain’t. Go practice writing on the bathroom walls. There’s got to be an audience somewhere in this world that thinks that what you have to say is somehow salient.

E-verify is useless. I find it much easier to just run the SS number and verify a drivers license. I have to do this before I can send it to payroll anyways, so I don’t really care to find out immediately if they are a valid citizen or not. If I hired someone to immediately start working that day, than I could see the use, but there is no need for that in a normal employement setting. Usually 1-2 days to get it all in order is good enough the old fashion way. I’m glad they aren’t wasting money on this thing.

If this was 100% accurate, and was allowed to be used instead of your SS#, than I could see the benefit. Otherwise it just sounds redundant to me.

Thanks for advising the public at large on the status of E-Verify, Mr. Badie. Like so many others, as you have suggested, I’ve contacted my representatives in Congress urging them to fund and mandate the use of E-Verify permanently. Only one slight correction if I may make it Mr. Badie, The program [E-verify], according to DHS as cited by Lou Dobbs, has a 99 percent accuracy rate.
Mr. Obama and the vast majority of Democrats are indeed trying to end the E-Verify program; along with the scumbag anti-American worker Unions, La Raza, Maldef, and the Chamber of Commerce to mention just a few from a long list. All of this is clearly being done intentionally by a very odious design that is targeting and profiling U.S. Citizen American workers, their wages and their jobs.

Bubba, the only moron that can make Brucie look smart. Have mommy read it to you, call me if you two need help with the big words.
Obama is the puppet master and Pelosi and Reid are the puppets.
As always, the facts win and Brucie’s jock sniffer Bubba loses.
*The Obama administration, meanwhile, has delayed implementation of a new rule that would require federal contractors to use E-Verify. The rule, which was issued by the Bush administration, was scheduled to go into effect Feb. 20, but the Obama administration postponed implementation until May 21 so it can review it. *

Hey Badie. Here’s your topic for the next blog.
It seems the AJC came out this weekend and admitted they are too liberal. Kudos to Julia Wallace for finally admitting what we knew all along. The AJC is a liberal rag.
Blubbering Badie has contributed greatly to the demise of the AJC with his twice weekly error-filled moronic musings.
Now … let me discuss the issue that generated the most questions and comments to our publisher. Some readers believe we do a good job of being fair in our coverage and providing a balance of opinions. A few think we’re too conservative. But many more believe that our editorial pages are too liberal and that bias seeps into our news coverage. We have heard you on the bias issue and are taking deliberate steps to address this.
Blubbering Badie better get his application in at Denny’s.

E-verify is set to expire, as it hardly used as Bubba pointed out, why waste the money? The Irish, the Jews, the Polish, name one that was native to the America’s? The easy answer is none, unless you have a third of of nstive blood, as I do as a Potawatomi.
Now think people, the Lations are very hard workers on the job, the United States citizens are pretty lazy, not the illegals.
Go to a job site, whose stnading around, the Mexians

Mr. Smith: I stand corrected. E-verify does have a 99 percent accuracy rate. Thanks for catching that.

Who care’s about China or the Chinese. They over populated themselves and they should deal with thier own problems by themselves. We should not be hiring them or buying their poorly made products. We should be only looking out for American citizens and should only be buying American made products.

Brucie ” Nothing Can Be Done, Whine Like a Girl and Pass the Lube” proves just how stupid he is again. And his jock sniffer Bubba just proved that idiots flock together, like Lemmings.
Verify Use Projected to Grow 442% 2007-2009 * Janice Kephart, March 8, 2009 * S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) data from the first seven weeks of 2009 suggest that by the end of this year, E-Verify use will have grown 442 percent since 2007.
In January 2009, the Department of Homeland Security announced that 100,890 employers at more than 400,000 worksites had signed up with E-Verify since its inception..
Brucie, stick to what you know, which is nothing. Bubba, quick trying to earn your Bruci Wilcox kneepads.

At least I don’t get angry when I read Badie’s column. Mike Luckovich’s inept and liberal stupid daily “political cartoons”, however, are lame, dumb, and quite irritating.
Get rid of Luckovich’s section of the paper! I’m tired of it.
