CEO changes with the times
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Ben Treadway remembers when Doraville was considered the outskirts of Atlanta. This was before the silly discussions about whether to live Outside The Perimeter or Inside the Perimeter. When there was no Spaghetti Junction, no I-285.
“I-285 was being built,” said Treadway, a 1975 graduate of Sequoyah High who played football and ran track. “We used to hunt where Spaghetti Junction is.”
He attended Auburn University, where he majored in industrial management. He’d always wanted to go into business for himself, a nod in many respects, to his late father. He owned Glenco Jeep in Decatur for decades.
Treadway oversees Fulton Communications, a Norcross business on Reps Miller Road that specializes in integrated communications systems. The 32-person firm sells business phone systems, and everything such a network involves — “from data switches to security systems,” said Treadway, the company’s president and CEO. “And anything that has to do with low-voltage requirements.”
When we talked, I rattled off a few of the week’s most disturbing economic stories — Home Depot’s 7,000 job cuts, the 20,000 cuts at Caterpillar, and 8,000 jobs at Sprint Nextel.
Companies big and small are reaching for the saw, weighing drastic measures in a toxic economy. Yet Fulton Communications, acquired by Treadway in 2006, is expanding, growing jobs. Four weeks ago, the company opened an Orlando office. A Central Florida telecom company was downsizing.
“We had an opportunity to hire an office full of people,” he told me. “They’d all gotten laid off. Now we’re selling to the Florida market, the same thing we do here. All the markets are pretty similar these days. It’s tough going, but we are off to a good start.”
A company downsizes. In some cases, its owners want to sell or seek to bring in another partner. In steps Treadway. He may acquire the business entirely, or buy a stake, if an agreement can be inked out. It’s a scenario he expects to repeat itself in Phoenix and Los Angeles, two markets of interest. “This is exactly what I do,” the Marietta resident said. “The L.A. guy came in yesterday.”
Treadway admits it is harder these days to acquire new clients. The difficult part is getting in a company’s door, landing an appointment and, it is hoped, making the sell.
“You have to have the right people on your staff,” he said. “A lot of times companies have older technology, old-fashioned dial tones and phones. We are trying to get someone to change from a competitor’s system to our system. What we try to do is get in, take a look at the money that is already being spent on maintenance, and reallocate those funds. A lot of times, we can get companies better, more efficient technology for the same amount of money, and a lot of time put money into their pockets.”
And Fulton Communications’.
In 2006, when Treadway became president/CEO, Fulton Communications had an estimated $1.2 million in revenue. Last year, that figure surpassed $7 million, according to the company Web site. The company has installed and maintained communications systems for Atlanta anchors like the Georgia Dome and Centennial Olympic Park. “At this point, it’s all about working hard and doing the things we do best,” Treadway said. “As long as we do that, we will be fine.”

The English naturalist Darwin probably said it best Mr. Badie: It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change.
Nice eye-opener is this consequential statement from Mr. Treadway
All the markets are pretty similar these days.
How few have yet come to realize the impact that globalization has made on “the markets” once thought to possess a sense of uniqueness, now so intricately intertwined they all seem nearly inseparable.
Convergence certainly has taken its’ toll on the print media, as newspapers, the Internet and TV meld into a virtual one. Perhaps Thomas Friedman’s Glocalization or as Edward Tanguay’s review has it, will set the prospective to redeem uniqueness from the throws of an ominous world of similarity?
Friedman defines glocalization as “the ability of a culture, when it encounters other strong cultures, to absorb influences that naturally fit into and can enrich that culture, to resist those things that are truly alien and to compartmentalize those things that, while different, can nevertheless be enjoyed and celebrated as different.” For example, Friedman thinks good glocalization is when a little Japanese girl goes to a McDonalds in Tokyo to “enjoy the American way of life and food.” Bad glocalization is when she gets off a plane in Los Angeles and is surprised that “they have McDonalds in America, too!” The little girl should be aware that McDonalds is not a part of the Japanese culture. Otherwise we are headed for a very bland world: all Lexus and no olive tree.
“At this point, it’s all about working hard and doing the things we do best,” Treadway said. “As long as we do that, we will be fine.”
Very well said Mr. Treadway: So long as the rest of the world knows that we are the ones, who are doing the proverbial, “that,” what makes the difference?

Michael H. Smith, great observation and delineation of Thomas Friedman’s Glocalization: “How few have yet come to realize the impact that globalization has made on “the markets” once thought to possess a sense of uniqueness, now so intricately intertwined they all seem nearly inseparable.

But Michael, why in the hell didn’t someone other than black Nationalist etc. explain the inherent dangers of integration/globalism to the integrationist Negroes; but just maybe other people stepped forward but were unsuccessful. Do you know how much suffering, pain, and black disintegration could’ve been averted if they had understood and respected a version of Friedman’s idea? But nevertheless, the integrationist Negroes were determined, and still are, to acquire money at the expense of creating genocide in black communities, 7,000 lost here, 20,000 lost there, and 8,000 lost tomorrow is common practice. Don’t allow integrationist to say otherwise. Integration has been the greatest evil visited upon the black masses since reaching the shores of America, chattel slavery notwithstanding. At the end of the day, black integrationist have two things to show for their efforts. A disoriented/deranged mass of black people and a black President of the United States; and he’s a Mongrel.
The clock hasn’t expired. Americans still have an opportunity to resist globalism/integration and escape suffering the fate of the African American community.

Interesting interchange playing on the word usage of from “the throws” changed to “the throes”.
Enjoy the updates coming from the “New Black Panther Party” readers. Soon “its” separatists counterpart will emerge, no doubt, to form the usual diametrically opposed unified supremacist conclusions on - requisite ethnic pure - nationalism, complete with the fomenting of antiquated slurs.
Words of encouragement to the - E pluribus unum - nationalists of Teddy Roosevelt’s progressive movement:
So long as we can right the due course of history, who cares if the Blasé Liberals write the wrong dictionaries.

I don’t know too much about The New Black Panther Party. But I’m sure they don’t believe in black supremacy. If one is to believe in black supremacy, the physical structures must be erected, large buildings, etc. to give expression/support to that ideology. And a comparison of structures must be made. It’s highly probable that members of the New Black Panther Party has to go hat in hand to those who believe in the doctrine of supremacy to service their basic needs, and other pressing matters i.e. the hospitalization of Dr. Khallid Abdul Muhammad, founder of the New Black Panther Party. A black person would have to be insane to believe in black supremacy and have no physical structures to reference as evidence.
Certain individuals may emerge that’s diametrically opposed to each other, but certainly not unified on any supremacist conclusions. And should the New Black Panther Party attain the power to service the basic needs of their ethnic group, righting the course of history and writing dictionaries would be rendered insignificant.
That’s why the people within my circle believe in speaking softly in society if you don’t have the power to service the basic needs of your community.

Your dogma is carbon copy of the New Black Panthers. Like Mark’s is to the Klan. One pathetic cloak, two different colors, that’s all.
The two of you should get together and compare notes on how best to mutually destroy each other in service to the rest of us “integrating mutts” that have adapted so very well to the evolutionary changes in humanity without losing any sense of real identity or the courage to embrace it, solely as Americans.

Michael H. Smith, you should be ashamed of yourself. It’s obvious by your first post that you understand the pitfalls of integration and glocalization. A person only has to connect the dots as I did with my first post.
Michael, let’s examine the difference between your position and mine. You believe in E pluribus unum, said differently, everyone coming under the control of the New World Order, white supremacy. An just as the integrationist Negroes betrayed the masses of black people, the position you take is detrimental to the average white person, Home Depot’s 7,000 job cuts, the 20,000 cuts at Caterpillar, and 8,000 jobs at Sprint Nextel etc.
Usually, individuals of racial groups look at individuals of other racial groups as enemies. They are so sadly mistaken. No other group of people can destroy or enslave another without prominent individuals misleading and betraying their own kind- via the media- usually for money, status, fame, jobs etc.
A thinking humanity would agree with my position hands down.

The average white person and people everywhere should thank God tonight during prayer that “Charles”, The Original is a Christian. Because if he were not, he’d be online convincing the average white person how wonderful integration and globalization is for the purpose of getting even. In other words, white people enslaved black people, and through guile, I’m going to support the enslavement of white people. God forbid. It’s against the tenants of the Christian faith to willfully lure any person or people into a deadly trap, globalism.
Globalism is white supremacy of a different sort. It’s not the kind which afforded the average white person privileges and status by virtue of being white. In this New World Order white supremacy, globalism, the elitist white people will control the lives of the masses of people everywhere with an iron fist. Only the elitist will be free along with their enforcers of every hue, and the rest of humanity, red, yellow, black, and white will succumb to slavery.

Who should be ashamed? You are truly laughable - in a sick way! The difference of delusional and a having wild imagination are one and the same, just all in the way you look at it? Said differently?
Get this if nothing else and correctly please: Order of the Ages is nowhere close to this “New World Order” business.
The Order of the Ages refers to a “Republican form of government” which is not a World Government.
E pluribus unum said correctly: Out of Many, One.
Say things differently, indeed!
Go find a head-shrinker or at least a good Latin teacher, will ya? And, lay off the conspiracy books; you are too far gone already.
I’ll thank GOD alright that bigots like you and a couple of others of like weak minds (which I’ll not call by name), have all but been relegated to totally irrelevant dangerous little kooks by today’s American society, that due to present economic conditions cannot appropriate the necessary funds to place in basket weaving classes somewhere safely away from others so they do no further harm to themselves or others.

Ah poor little you? You are aspersions cast on everyone, whoever you are Charles. That is the truth and “struck out” is all you have struck with me.
Integration is here to stay, perhaps you should leave. Find an island, start your on private African nation founded on your doctrine of black nationalism to “save the black race”. Sound familiar, it should. It is the same dogmatic hate claim made by the Klan. The NBP, La Raza and the KKK, are “saving their race”, readers.
All of Charles so-called Negroes - you know Americans that aren’t really Africans and haven’t been since slaves stepped-off the ship - repent and line up, your savior has come to lead you out of American white oppression. Boat is at the dock. Let us know how many “few good fools” you get on board. We’ll probably need an accurate manifest to use in retrieving the bodies after the KOOL-AID fest concludes.
If when your ilk and all others like it are gone, Charles, the rest of us in the human race of every hue will be saved.
Back to right the due course of history… The problem with Friedman definition of glocalization is in category: His so-called “bad glocalization” is in fact, globalization. Likely globalism at its’ best unmasked as the example in Edward Tanguay’s review reveals. Where McDonald’s once thought part of the American culture from its’ origins transpires into a”global culture” under the age and “order of corporate rule” immune from any national identity and a hell of alot of U.S. taxation, labor laws and other acceptable standards commonly held by U.S. Citizens.

Our DNA mutates, so does our RNA, as mitochondrial mutations ocurring only in the female so’s she can pass down the mutations, and that’s how we’re all related to EVE.
Anyway, evolution is a quantum probability. If there is a climate change over the ages and eons, then a species that is lucky enough to mutate correctly will survive. It’s not a response to the change, it’s a probability that the regular cyclical mutation sequence that occurs randomly will be beneficial or not.
No species evolves with an agenda. It evolves because mutations are so numerous that some of them are bound to be beneficial, and it’s these species that we see today.
Extrapolated to modern corporations, Like McDonald’s, the mutations that ensures survival become the unconscious conformation to regional socio-cultural fantasies and protocols. Like the Chick Filet ads that feature Cows promoting the diners to eat more chicken: these ads indulge the chickonian splendor fantasies of the bovine-challenged rural dichotomic disenfrancisees in India, thus chick filet is the biggest import of the west into the east since marco polo sold them their first scratch-n-sniff jock strap, which itself elicited the “untouchable” class, inducing the itchy-caste system we see today.

FREEMASONRY: E PLURIBUS UNUM (Out of Many, One); DECODING THE SYMBOLISM
By: Fahim A. Knight-EL
There has been a lot of discussion on one of the African American Prince Hall Masonic web sites relating to the U.S. Dollar bill and the United States Seal, as far as, decoding the meaning and interpreting of the symbolism, and for many of us in the broader community; we would have considered the discussion they were having as an old discussion. However, what is considered old information to some, might be considered new to those who have yet to come in contact with certain information, which leads us to accept that what is considered “old” or “new” information should be viewed as relative terms.
A brother named Octavius S. Davis-El who is a 33rd Degree Mason from the PHAmily website wrote this message: “To my sisters and brothers, the words were said last night (Referring to President-Elect Barack Obama’s victory speech after defeating Senator John McCain for the office of president),”Out of many one.” Let us think on these words. Annuit Coeptis meaning Out of many one, it’s on back of your dollar bill. “It is time to build and reinforce our society”. Davis had suggested that the Latin terminology Annuit Coeptis meant “Out of Many One” but actually E-Pluribus Unum (which translate from Latin to English is interpreted to mean “Out of Many One.” But upon being corrected, he humbly accepted that he had erred and made a mistake and quite graciously accepted being corrected.
There was another brother on the web site who identified himself as Dr. Michael Murphy who I am assuming holds a Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph. D) in some discipline, but this was his response and correction to Davis-EL; “Hi again Brother Davis, When one earns two Bachelors Degrees at a Catholic University, one has to take Latin. I double checked what I thought was the correct translation, and confirmed it.”“The Latin words “Annuit Conceptis” literally translated means announcing the birth or in the case of the dollar bill; “Announcing the Birth of the New World Order”. The Latin words “E Pluribus Unum” means “Out of many; one” Forgive me brother-man. I hate raining on your oratory parade, but consider it a helpful instruction in the Latin Language.”
Dr. Murphy was correct in his language translation and since Brother Davis-EL had made this error on a public forum, then I saw no reason why he should not have been corrected in a public way. But I did feel that he laid down to easy and this is what led me to do this research and bring forth this knowledge, but many of the responses after Dr. Murphy’s correction of Davis-EL comment were in agreement with Dr. Murphy because we thought that an authoritative voice had spoken. However, perhaps none of them were willing to put in the research to verify or go after the historical evidence to further explain this Latin concept E-Pluribus Unum and why it was incorporated in the symbolism on the United States Currency and how did this relate to Freemasonry. This subject needed a little more scholarly attention than a bunch of yes men agreeing with Dr. Murphy, but what about offering an empirical investigation. This writer did not respond on day that these comments were being made relative to the U.S. Seal and U.S. Currency, it wasn’t that if he lacked the knowledge to have responded. But these were surface comments being offered and I desired to wait until after doing the research and then only would I offer Dr. Murphy and Davis-EL a legitimate response that would be well thought-out and well researched. Here is my response: But many of the questions… … This is an intresting article. Google the article and read Fahim A. Knight-EL’s response.

Au contraire, species do in fact evolve with a very definite purposed agenda: Survival !
Our DNA mutates, so does our RNA, as mitochondrial mutations ocurring only in the female so’s she can pass down the mutations, and that’s how we’re all related to EVE.
Thanks for bringing that back up again to enlighten the RACE MONGERS on this blog that believe in the existence of many different races - which only exist in their mind.
Extrapolated to modern corporations, Like McDonald’s, the mutations that ensures survival become the unconscious conformation to regional socio-cultural fantasies and protocols. Nice trot but I’m not buying into excessive exercise or the excuses for it… just a little tired at the moment.
Needless to say, “inducing” falls short of what has and continues to be created by design in what will be a very cementiuos- global-caste system: No place to run, no place to hide, in the inescapable “Flat World”.
The order of commerce will rule, dictating to puppet governments or vice verse, governments dictating to puppet corporations, as in the notable case of China Inc..

Everyone has a story:
There was an unforeseeable occurrence on our hunting trip nearly a year ago. We happened upon an open field, and there were birds everywhere. They were black, brown, white, golden, and reddish birds grouped respectively. All of them were eating in a spacious field. The black birds were located on the east-side, and the brown ones were on the south-side. Toward the west were the white birds, and in the north were the golden ones.
Darwin-Mike, my uncle, observed the birds in the field too. He wondered aloud why the birds were not all eating together as one big happy family. Instead, they appeared to be separating themselves. Yet, they were sharing the food with little or no aggression in a beloved community. Darwin-Mike, who’s always explaining away Creation, said that the only reason the birds were not intermingling is because they have not evolved. And as we moved forward to get a closer look, Mike accidentally tripped over a broken limb; he falls to the ground discharging his shotgun. As I came to his rescue, he looked into the sky as the birds scattered helter skelter to safety. Wasn’t it beautiful, said Mike? It was a beautiful thing to see all of those birds together for the first time. There was a red one, a black one, a golden one, a white one, and a red one all in one group; it’s a prelude of what’s to come. Just wait until they’re fully evolved and realize the oneness of the bird kingdom.
Get on your feet Darwin-Mike; hubris and carelessness have caused a great deal of suffering and pain.

Jesus the Christ was right. He said because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.
14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:
15 For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

Charles, something to think about or refute…
All in the world know the beauty of the beautiful, and in doing this they have (the idea of) what ugliness is; they all know the skill of the skilful, and in doing this they have (the idea of) what the want of skill is.
So it is that existence and non-existence give birth the one to (the idea of) the other; that difficulty and ease produce the one (the idea of) the other; that length and shortness fashion out the one the figure of the other; that (the ideas of) height and lowness arise from the contrast of the one with the other; that the musical notes and tones become harmonious through the relation of one with another; and that being before and behind give the idea of one following another.
Therefore the sage manages affairs without doing anything, and conveys his instructions without the use of speech.
All things spring up, and there is not one which declines to show itself; they grow, and there is no claim made for their ownership; they go through their processes, and there is no expectation (of a reward for the results). The work is accomplished, and there is no resting in it (as an achievement).
The work is done, but how no one can see; ‘Tis this that makes the power not cease to be.

Any “man” who defines God and His wishes according to the Bible - which was written by man - limits his interpretation by the parameters of his understanding. To truly know God, one must first begin with the premise that man lacks the ability to comprehend the machinations of the world.
To say that God favors one race over another, that God means for the Bible to be interpreted in a specific way, is a conceit originated by man. God does not favor white over black, black over yellow, man over man. Any attempts to suggest that He does suggests not a strength of belief, but a weakness of continued growth.
God has given us all that we need to survive, grow, and prosper - as he does with all of His creations. This talk of evolution, “glocalization,” what have you, is all based not on God’s understanding of the world, but on man’s. God doesn’t play by our rules - we play by His rules.
Having said this, “changing with the times” is a concept developed by man to adjust to a changing. God never said that life would be stagnant. Rather, man (when he doesn’t let his brain get in the way) was given the instinct of survival, the intelligence to understand life and situations (the recession is man’s doing, not God’s) and the wisdom to learn from our mistakes.
At least, that’s what God intended. Men often come up short on displays of intelligence and wisdom.

Does man ever seek “to find God”?
Romans 3: 10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
3:11 There is none that understandeth,“there is none that seeketh after God.”
God’s grace finds man. It is not the other way around, Charles the confused one.
