Congratulations Atlanta! But you may want to pad the crowd(patrons). You know..with those steep prices on the annual passes and all.

I think that this is very exciting news. The Today Show and its’ staff have always been very kind to Atlanta. Katie Couric worked for CNN in Atlanta for a short time but not on air. I think that this will be great publicity for the Aquarium. It will also give former Georgians a chance to see what is happening here, such as my oldest daughter in San Diego and my middle daughter in Boston.

This is an exciting mark in history for the city of Atlanta. There is abundant pride in telling fellow friends and relatives that we now offer the world’s most captivating water display.

As the Today show broadcasts the opening of Georgia Aquarium, we are reminded of the significance of this new facility. This will give us national exposure and print Atlanta as a credible tourist destination.

The moment has finally come, thanks to Bernie Marcus, corporate sponsors, and others. The city is proud of you all for contributing to this project and making it a reality.

The world will be astounded by the immense display of whale sharks, beluga whales, sea otters, and 100,000+ fish… not bad! Add the superlative “Largest aquarium on earth,” and you’ve placed the cherry on top.

What is Terry talking about? Pad the crowd? Over 35000 annual memberships have already been sold and we are still almost 3 weeks away from the opening so more will be sold for sure. There is going to be no need to pad the crowd because the lines that first day are going to be enormous and the Today Show is going to do a great job of showcasing something else that Atlanta has to offer. Now if we could just teach people around here how to drive Atlanta wouldn’t be that bad :)!
