DEKALB COUNTY
Death sentence is on the table

KING FAMILY
Love letters remain private
Dexter King appears in Fulton Superior Court Tuesday asking that his sister, Bernice King, release control of their mother’s love letters, written to her by their father, Martin Luther King Jr. The letters would be used in an autobiography of Coretta Scott King. Some who were close to Mrs. King maintain she would not have wanted the letters made public. At stake is a $1.4 million publishing contract.
