What: MARTA executives will host public talks with Gwinnett residents to discuss bringing rail service into the county. A presentation on potential benefits will be followed by a question and answer session.
When and where: Public meetings with MARTA executives will be held 7 p.m. today in the Global Mall, 5675 Jimmy Carter Boulevard, Norcross, and 7 p.m. Tuesday at Georgia Gwinnett College, in atrium of Building B, 1000 University Center Lane, Lawrenceville.
What it means to you: Ask questions and see renderings of potential Gwinnett MARTA stations in a lead-up to the July 15 county primary election, where voters will be asked whether they'd support a 1-cent sales tax to extend MARTA into Gwinnett on a nonbinding ballot.
