Dorsey declined to identify the suspects or what was taken during the burglary, saying it would jeopardize the investigation. He said additional search warrants will be served.

The identities of the suspects is public record under Georgia law.

Jonesboro Police officers set up a perimeter while the Clayton County Police SWAT team stormed the house, Jonesboro Major Tim Jessup said.

Jessup referred all additional questions to McDonough Police and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, who are handling the investigation. The GBI declined to comment.

Burglars broke into the McDonough department on June 1 through a window in an administrative building and were able to access the evidence room, police said.
