METROPOLITAN ATLANTA RAPID TRANSIT AUTHORITY (MARTA)

Rail hours: 5 a.m.-1 a.m. Mondays-Fridays; 6 a.m.-12:20 a.m. weekends and holidays.

Bus hours: Generally 5 a.m. to 1 a.m. Mondays-Fridays; 6 a.m. until 12:30 a.m. weekends. Individual bus routes vary.

Fare: One way, including transfers: $1.75 (under 6 free). Half Fare cards for the elderly and disabled are available at Five Points and Lindbergh Center stations. For information on Half Fare cards, call 404-848-5389.

Roll of 10 tokens: $17.50.

Roll of 20 tokens: $30.

Weekly TransCard (unlimited rides): $13.

Monthly TransCard (unlimited rides): $52.50.

Weekend passes: $9.

Stadium shuttle: $1.75.

Six Flags shuttle: $2.50 or transfer plus 75 cents.

Parking: Daily parking is free for the first 24 hours. Long-term parking at the Lindbergh, College Park, Doraville and North Springs stations is $6. CLAYTON COUNTY TRANSIT (C-TRAN)

Update: C-Tran has expanded to three routes; stops include Hartsfield International Airport, Clayton College & State University, Southlake Mall, the Harold R. Banke Justice Center and Southern Regional Medical Center.

Hours/days of operation: 5 a.m.-midnight Mondays-Fridays; 6 a.m.-midnight Saturdays; 7 a.m.-10 p.m. Sundays.

Fares: One way is $1.50 for adults, 75 cents for the elderly or disabled; free for children under 5; paratransit, $3; weekly pass, $13; one-trip pass (10-pass package), $13; monthly pass, $52.50; free MARTA transfers.


COBB COMMUNITY TRANSIT

Express fares (from Cobb to Atlanta): Adult one way, $3; adult round trip, $4; youth one way, $1.60; youth round trip, $2.55; free MARTA transfers.

Paratransit: Adults, $2.50; youth, $1.60.


GWINNETT COUNTY TRANSIT

Note: Gwinnett County Transit offers express bus service to Atlanta from Gwinnett Place, Discover Mills, the Mall of Georgia and three park-and-ride lots to MARTA's Peachtree Center, Five Points and Arts Center stations. Five local routes run from Norcross, Lilburn, Lawrenceville, Doraville and Buford to Gwinnett Place mall.

Hours/days of operation: 5:45 a.m.-8:10 p.m. Mondays-Fridays for express buses.

Fares: Express rides are $3 one way, $27 for a 10-ride book, $100 for a monthly pass; local rides are $1.75 for adults, 85 cents for seniors, children and the disabled.

Park and Ride: Park free at any of three Park & Ride lots. They are located at I-85 and Indian Trail, Discover Mills, and at I-985 and Ga. 20. Overnight parking is prohibited.

Fare information: $3 -- cash fare, one way; $27 -- 10-ride ticket book; $100 -- Express monthly pass (unlimited rides); Transfers to MARTA trains and buses are free. Ask your driver for a transfer slip when you board the bus and pay your fare. For travel from MARTA to Gwinnett County Transit, pay the MARTA fare and ask for a transfer. These transfers will be valid for your travel on Gwinnett County Transit.

Order passes/tickets: Monthly passes and tickets can be purchased by phone at 770-822-5010 or by mail. Pass-by-mail forms are available on the bus. Allow at least five business days for processing and mailing your request.

Rider information: Bus stops are identified with a Gwinnett County Transit sign, which indicates the routes that stop there. Buses stop only at designated stops. Have your fare ready before boarding the bus. Exact change, or a valid pass/ticket, is required. Gwinnett County Transit does not operate on New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day.
