Four people have been injured and all lanes remain closed after a two-car wreck on Interstate 20 in Rockdale County, officials said.
One car was overturned on eastbound I-20 near Salem Road, Department of Transportation spokesman Bryan Gunter said.
The wreck was reported just before 6 p.m., Gunter said.
Four people were taken to area hospitals, and traffic is being diverted off the West Avenue exit 80, about four miles west of the accident, he said.
“Now that the injuries are off the scene, we can work on opening the lanes,” Gunter said.
