Atlanta protesters burn photo of Iranian president

About 100 to 125 people gathered in front of the CNN Center Sunday evening for a second day of protests against the Iranian government’s crackdown of citizen election protests.
The demonstrators burned an Islamic Republic flag and photos of Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

About 300 demonstrators rallied outside the CNN Center Saturday for a similar protest. Most of the crowd consisted of Iranians living in the U.S. Many carried signs and placards reading “Where is my vote,” “Free Iran” and “Stop the violence,” the Associated Press reported.
The rally was organized by a group of Iranian students living in Atlanta, the Associated Press reported. The organizers said they do not support any candidate or political party in the Iranian elction and that the rally was endorsed by Amnesty International.
