CORDELE — Crisp County sheriff’s investigators say a 34-year-old murder suspect was found dead in a rural field off U.S. 41.
Deputies said a farmer found the body of Nathan Emmanuel Holley of Ashburn. The remains were found Tuesday.
Turner County sheriff’s investigators and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation had been looking for Holley in connection with the Sept. 28 shooting death of 58-year-old Tommy Wayne Giles.
Authorities said Giles and Holley were co-workers in Ty Ty, Ga., and they have unable to establish a motive.
Evidence indicated Holley may have died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
