The runoff between Republican U.S. Sen. Saxby Chambliss and Democratic challenger Jim Martin and other runoffs, including contests for the Georgia State Appeals Court and Public Service Commission-District 4, are set for Dec. 2.
Wednesday is the last day for early voting in the runoff. Here are early voting times and locations in metro Atlanta:

What you’ll need
Under the state’s Voter ID law, voters need one of six forms of photo ID. They are:
- Any valid state or federal government-issued photo ID, including the free Voter ID Card issued by your county registrar’s office or the Georgia Department of Driver Services.
- A Georgia driver’s license, even if expired.
- Valid employee photo ID from any branch, department, agency or entity of the U.S. government, Georgia, or any county, municipality, board, authority or other entity of the state. This includes current photo ID from a public Georgia high school or college.
- Valid U.S. passport.
- Valid U.S. military photo ID.
- Valid tribal photo ID.
Absentee ballots
- Call ahead to find out when absentee ballots will be available in your county.
- All absentee ballots must be received by the county registrar by the close of the polls on Dec. 2.
- Photo identification is not required when voting by mail.
- TIP: Given the short time before deadline, the Secretary of State’s office urges people who want to vote by mail to submit their application as soon as possible and, upon receipt of the ballot, to return the ballot immediately to ensure its receipt by the deadline.

• No campaign material (shirts, buttons, hats) are allowed in the polling place.
