A 17-year-old passenger in the Nissan, Mariyam Crossley, was killed in the crash. Crossley was a senior at Heritage High School.

Investigators charged Kozlowski with vehicular homicide in the second degree and driving too fast for conditions, both misdemeanors. He turned himself in Wednesday and was released on bond, Shupe said.
