Bishop Weeks’ reality dating show a no-show
Contract negotiations postpone launch

Bishop Thomas W. Weeks III’s leap into a reality dating show was about as problematic as his failed marriage to national evangelist Juanita Bynum.
The first full episode of “Who Will Be the Next Mrs. Weeks” was postponed because of incomplete contract negotiations with a reality television producer. Those who logged onto www.bishopweeks.com Tuesday saw what seemed like an infomercial about Weeks instead of the lively conversation about dating featured in the reality show’s promo.

Bishop Thomas Weeks, on probation for attacking his wife, evangelist Juanita Bynum, is participating in an internet reality show as part of his search for his next wife.
“The show was modified due to the fact of ongoing talks with network producers and network stations who are ramped up to do the first Christian reality dating program,” Weeks said.
Technical difficulties delayed the noon launch of Weeks’ redesigned Web site and its programming. Church officials say teases from “Who Will Be the Next Mrs. Weeks” will be released throughout the week.
Weeks says he doesn’t date yet. But he wants to move on with his life and mend his broken heart. He and Bynum divorced in June after a 15-month separation. “I still hurt,” Weeks said. “I didn’t get married to be divorced.”
The show’s intro features Weeks sitting on his desk in a dark suit and a bow tie while candlelight flickers in the background and soft music plays. He rattles on about upcoming events and finally, the taboos of dating his reality show will address like sex.
” ‘Who will be the Next Mrs. Weeks’ is an open dialogue for us to talk — good, bad or indifferent,” Weeks said. “You know in the church we really don’t talk about hot topic issues, we bury it. We become silent.”
Other footage features Weeks working at church and talking to pastors about their relationships.
Weeks is inviting his followers to observe his personal life so they can get a Christian perspective on dating and coping with the desire for intimacy. The Pentecostal pastor will soon release a book about the subject called “Finding Yourself While In Transition.”
Weeks is still serving probation for attacking Bynum in August 2007 outside of the Renaissance Concourse Hotel in Atlanta. He pleaded guilty to aggravated assault as a first offender and has completed the required community service hours and anger management counseling.

I know that none of us are perfect, but when becoming notable examples for God who are in the public, we must realize that our lives are now under the microscope so therefore we must be careful. Its ashame that two people who are so well versed in scriptures etc... would come to such an end, but we have to be careful not to put people on such high pedistals. I feel sorry for both of them, but I think they need to both sit down and be taught because it seems as if both are still doing things that people of God sholdn't do.

Ye without sin,cast the first stone. Instead of judging them and saying what they should or shouldnt do how about we all pray for, encourage, and uplift them. God is the only one who can give a final word to their situtation. We all need each other, yes mistakes may have been made but if God has forgiven them why cant we? The whole purpose of being a follower of Jesus Christ is LOVE. Thats it wonderful people. 1Corinthians 13 talks about what love is. He even told us in the one of the four gospels that the world will know us by the way we love one another. If we react the same way people who dont know the Lord do, then where is the light of our salvation? Where is the difference? I encourage everybody to examine themselves, it could have been any one of us in their situation and still could be one day. God bless

We all in life make mistakes, some make small ones, some make large ones. We sometime slip & sin, although this is not to be a practice expecially if we say that we are born again Christians. We should repent (turn away from),and seek forgiveness for our sins, and we should forgive others for their sins just as God does for each one of us. There were many in the bible that sinned and sought forgiveness. However, they were quick to repent and commit themselves to God. I believe if we all truly turned to God, we could begin to see God's glory manifested in an awsome way. I hope Bro. Weeks will wait on marriage, stay off the tv, and give yourself time to be truly redeemed, and healed, because you are still hurting, which means that you are not ready to be in another relationship so soon. This will require spending time with God, and submitting to him. The people need to see Jesus in you. Turn to God while you have the opportunity to do so. Allow God to use you in the way he intended. Everyone need to pray for Bro. Weeks that he will be returned to the state that God desires. That state is holiness, righteousnes,and santification. May God bless you with this state. You must turn to him, for it is turning your face to God, and away from so many things of the world that will save you Bro. Weeks, and lift you to a place of greatness in God thru Jesus.

I would like to know what are you telling the people who thought God put y'all together. Because if He did, that would make Him look like He made a mistake. otherwise you two should'nt have never divorce. Let's get real. You have so many followers out there that"s gonna think it's okay to divorce. What ever happen to coming clean, I think you guys ole the public an apology, so they will know that we too makes mistake. Hit me back please

Umm, These are the things and "people" God warned the church of within the last days.
The bible talks detailistically about FALSE PHOPHETS arising.
Umm, It is stated that he served community service and, got anger management counseling.........Naw, He should've been ordered to get A MENTAL HEALTH EVALUATION. Lets not forget 1 out of 4 in the World, have Mental Health Disorder
Even in the church many suffer from mental issues, bipolar, schizoprenic etc. This is not to talk down about the afflicted, but to let the church world know that sometimes many christians need Mental Counseling, and other mental help needs, as a follow up just in case their healing from God is a progressional one instead of a spontaneous one.
This is why the world needs to turn back to the "Blood of Jesus !! The old saints knew that the Blood is what made the difference, and they had a strong keen sense of disernment. They were in tune w/God.
I Challenge you and every one else to go back to your 1st love, (that being God)_ and every thing else will fall in place)
Seek ye 1st the kingdom of God and HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS and all these things will be added unto you.
Let's get back to what matters......."The Blood of Jesus". It regulates minds, and removes sin. CHURCH WHY ARE WE PUTTING GOD OUT !! He's still the only source we need to pull from, not this mess!! WHEN WILL WE LEARN TO TRUST GOD AGAIN, or are we like unto the church of "Laodecia"...Where we done got so good, we no longer need God. I still do !
