Tracking the 'Blue Jean Bandits'

Thieves have stolen more than $1 million in merchandise from stores in a series of smash-and-grab burglaries across metro Atlanta. The "Blue Jean Bandits" target primarily high-end retailers, stealing designer jeans and other clothing.

Atlanta police have created a task force to combat the crimes that has led to several arrests. But that hasn't stopped the thieves from continuing to hit more stores.

Find out just how much damage they have done by searching our database. All data was obtained from reports of incidents police consider to be related crimes. Burglary reports date back to January 2007 and will be updated continuously.
