Accomplice Aimee Allen, 37, received a lesser sentence of 2 years 10 months in prison after cooperating with prosecutors. The former Cartersville resident also faces three years of supervised release. Each defendant was fined $1,500.
"These convictions and sentences show that those assisting human traffickers — whether in finding victims, transporting victims against their will, ensuring that the victims are not free to leave, or trying to protect and hide the crimes — also may face prosecution and prison time," said U.S. Attorney David Nahmias.
Jackson, a former Atlanta pimp, and Allen plead guilty in May 2006 to several criminal counts associated with sex trafficking. They acknowledged "recruiting" women to Norris' operation.
The former WCW wrestler was convicted by a federal jury on 24 counts related to sex trafficking and awaits sentencing on April 1.
