Sandy Springs might change adult entertainment law

The Sandy Springs City Council on Tuesday will consider amending an ordinance regulating adult entertainment businesses.

Most of the changes would provide more specific wording about “due process” for job applicants in the adult entertainment industry, said City Attorney Wendell Willard.

When Sandy Springs became a city in 2005, it adopted the existing Fulton County adult entertainment ordinance. Willard said a lawyer hired by the city updated the ordinance after studying recent national court cases on adult businesses.

The meeting starts at 6 p.m.
