Victim ID’d in Sandy Springs shooting

Sandy Springs police have identified a man killed following a shooting at an apartment complex Saturday as Patricio Vega.

Vega, 32, of Mableton, was found shot inside an apartment in the 5500 block of Roswell Road about 9 p.m. Saturday.

He died shortly after being taken by ambulance to Northside Hospital. Another man, who was found nearby, had a gunshot to the leg. His name is being withheld by police, who are questioning him.

At least one other man is being sought in connection with the double shooting, police said.
