Police say Clark, 33, broke into the McDonough Police station on June 1 by climbing through a window in the administrative building. He then was able to access the evidence room, where he took several items, including firearms, investigators said.

Elvin Deleon, 26, bought one of the guns from Clark for $100, according to an arrest warrant issued by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. Deleon knew the silver I-Taurus Millennium 9 mm was stolen and worth more than $100, the warrant says.

Police arrested Deleon and two others on Tuesday when they raided a home on King Street in Jonesboro. Inside the home, investigators found the 9 mm, drugs, a flat screen television and several other items stolen from the McDonough station, police said.

It is unclear how many weapons were taken in the police station break-in and how many have been sold.

Clark is being held at the Henry County jail on five counts of burglary, two counts of criminal interference with government property, one count of tampering with evidence, one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and two probation violations.

Clark, of Jonesboro, was arrested June 3, according to the Henry County Sheriffs Department.

Police also are investigating 28-year-old Charita S. Woullard and 25-year-old Carlos V. Conesa, who were arrested Tuesday at the King Street home where some of the stolen property was found.

Woullard was charged with two counts of drug possession and Conesa was charged with an outstanding child support warrant, according to jail records.

Deleon, of College Park, was arrested on one count of theft by receiving stolen property. He was released on a $10,000 bond and is scheduled to return to court June 18.

The break-in remains under investigation by McDonough Police and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

McDonough Police Chief Preston Dorsey did not return a phone call. The GBI referred comments to Dorsey.
