Andre 3000 clocked at 109 mph, arrested in Henry

Atlanta rapper Andre 3000 is free on bond after being arrested for speeding early Saturday morning on I-75 in Henry County.

Police said the entertainer, whose name is Andre Benjamin, was driving a Porsche at 109 miles an hour in a 65 mph zone. He was arrested at about 12:30 a.m. in the Stockbridge area, according to Capt. Jason Bolton, Henry County police spokesman.

Neither Benjamin nor his publicists could not be reached for comment. Benjamin, 33, is due to answer the charge in court on April 29.
