83-year-old man killed in car wreck

An 83-year-old Grayson man died of injuries he suffered when he tried to turn left in front of an east-bound SUV, Gwinnett County police said Saturday.

Charles Daniels, driving a 1993 Toyota pickup, turned left off North Crestview Drive on to Grayson Parkway near Snellville in front of an on-coming 2007 Jeep Friday morning.

Investigators said Daniels failed to yield and he was at fault.

The name of the other driver was not released.
