Two of the four Meadowcreek High School students who were arrested for armed robbery last month have been released from jail on $50,000 bond.

A Gwinnett County Superior Court Judge Michael Clark had granted all four of the students — Sean Frezell and Simon Terzian, both 18, and Cory Huck and Atiim Henderson, both 17 — a $50,000 bond Thursday provided they remain under house arrest. Terzian and Huck made bail later that evening, however Henderson and Frezell were still behind bars on Friday morning.

Police said the students robbed a man at gunpoint Nov. 3 at the Orchard Park Apartments in Norcross. They were arrested five days later after someone reported some suspicious characters lurking in the same complex. The teenagers matched the description of the suspects in the robbery, and the victim later picked the foursome out of a photo lineup.

As a condition of their house arrest, the teenagers must wear an ankle monitor. They can only leave home to attend school or go to work, according to Assistant District Attorney Nigel Lush.

Lush said that he opposed bond, because he believes that the defendants, especially Henderson, are a threat to the community.

Henderson was arrested in August while carrying a toy handgun and hanging out with friends at a different apartment complex. He allegedly admitted to police that they were there to rob Hispanics “because he knew that they had money,” Lush said.

All four of the boys were current or former members of the Meadowcreek football team. Frezell, a senior, was quarterback for the team, which finished the 2008 season with a 1-9 record. Henderson, a junior, and Huck, a senior, played wide receiver, according to the team’s Web site. Terzian was on last year’s roster as a running back.

Prosecutors are waiting for the investigative file from the Gwinnett County Police Department so they can begin preparing to present the case to a grand jury for indictment.
