Gwinnett police said the suspect, Harry Brett Taylor, 44, is also accused of molesting a relative over an extended period of time.

In addition to being a Cub Scout leader, Taylor has been a member of Gwinnett County's library board since January 2006, police said.

An investigator met with the mother of an 8-year-old boy on Friday who claimed Taylor touched him inappropriately during a sleepover, said Gwinnett police spokesman Cpl. David Schiralli. The child was spending the night with one of Taylor's children at his home in Lawrenceville.

"The two children knew each other through Cub Scouts, where the suspect was their Cub Scout leader," Schiralli said.

Schiralli said the sleepover was not a Cub Scout event.

The boy also told investigators Taylor photographed him while he was drying off and undressing after swimming in Taylor's pool, according to a police press release issued late Monday.

Taylor is charged with four counts of child molestation and one count of sexual battery. He is being held without bond at the Gwinnett County Detention Center.
