A minister said Thursday that a five-car wreck stole limousine driver Mark Anthony Gay from his family like "a thief in the night."
"All are an interstate away from death," Bishop William Sheals said during a memorial service at Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church in Norcross. "We must be prepared, now."

| Bishop William Sheals offers words of comfort to Brandon Gay, 16, during a memorial service for his father Mark Gay, 44, the limousine driver killed in a March 31 wreck. |
Gay, 44, was driving the Ford Excursion limousine March 31 that went out of control during an accident on I-85 near Norcross, killing him and three passengers.
Gay's funeral was held Saturday in Cuthbert, his hometown in southwest Georgia.
About 50 people attended the memorial service Thursday. Several of Gay's peers in the limousine service spoke at the service about their affection for their friend.
"I know Mark loved his son and his family," said Willie Wilkins, 46, a limousine owner from Atlanta.
Sheals told Gay's 16-year-old son Brandon that his father had been a good man who fulfilled God's destiny for him.
"Your father was a kind man," Sheals said. "Was it too soon? God doesn't make a mistake."
Gwinnett County police said a speeding red Acura clipped Gay's sport utility vehicle. That driver, Carmon Cody Rhoden, 20, of Gainesville, has been charged with vehicular homicide and other offenses. Rhoden is scheduled to appear in court today for a probable cause hearing.
One person injured in the wreck is still hospitalized. Demetrius Randle, 45, of Lawrenceville is in critical condition at Gwinnett Medical Center.
Killed in the wreck were Randle's son, Alexander Randle, 14; his daughter, Whitney Randle, 21; and grandson, Kayden Alexander Randle-Finley, 13 months old. A funeral service for the Randle family was held Tuesday in Stone Mountain.
