Gwinnett school board passes $1.9 billion budget
The Gwinnett County Board of Education voted unanimously Thursday night to approve the $1.9 billion budget for the next fiscal year. The school board also tentatively approved the proposed millage rate of 20.55 mills. Final approval is scheduled for June 9.

Grand jury indicts former Duluth officer in shooting
A Gwinnett County grand jury on Thursday handed down indictments leveling new charges against a former Duluth police officer who allegedly attacked a woman and shot an off-duty Fulton County police officer.
