Peachtree City police are looking for a man who robbed the Kroger in Kedron Village early Monday morning and got away in a pickup truck.
Police spokeswoman Capt. Rosanna Dove said the man entered the grocery store about 1:40 a.m. Monday, claimed to have a .357-caliber pistol in his pocket and demanded money from a cashier.
After getting an undisclosed amount of money, the man left through the front doors and walked behind the north end of the shopping center, she said. The man went into an alleyway behind Blockbuster video store, got into a dark pickup truck and left the center.
Dove said the truck may be a Chevrolet with a camper shell.
Witnesses told police the robber is white, about 45 year old, between 5-feet 10-inches and 6 feet tall with an average build, dark hair, mustache and a scratch on his left cheek. Dove said the man was wearing a flannel jacket, blue jeans and a black ball cap with white lettering.
