Peachtree City police have charged three teenagers in a golf cart accident that sent one of them to the hospital earlier this month.
Police Capt. Rosanna Dove said golf cart operator Allison Patricia Gair, 17, of Peachtree City, turned herself in Monday on reckless driving and theft by taking charges. April Esposito, who was a passenger in the same cart, is expected to turn herself in today on a theft by taking charge, Dove said. A third passenger was charged in Juvenile Court with theft, she said.
Dove said the trio took the 2008 Club Car without permission about 11:50 p.m. on Nov. 7. Esposito climbed on the front bumper of the cart, fell off and was run over, police said.
