MARTA bus overturns on interstate ramp

No serious injuries were reported when a MARTA bus overturned Tuesday morning on a DeKalb County interstate ramp.
The driver lost control just before 6 a.m. on the ramp from I-285 southbound to I-20 eastbound.
DeKalb police dispatchers said there were no passengers on the bus.
The driver, whose name has not been released, was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
The ramp remained closed during the early stages of the morning commute.
Heavy duty wreckers were brought in to right the overturned bus, and the ramp reopened to traffic about 7:30, according to the state Department of Transportation.
It was not immediately clear whether heavy rain that moved through the area before daybreak contributed to the crash.
