Emory professor donates novels to state schools

Emory University marketing professor Jagdish “Jag” N. Sheth said Tuesday he will donate two award-winning books to Georgia public schools statewide to raise awareness about India and Indian culture.

The first book, “Finders Keepers,” will be offered to elementary and middle schools. Set in India, it is about a boy who finds a wallet and doesn’t understand why he should be rewarded for returning to it to its rightful owner.

The second book, “India Unveiled,” will be offered to middle and high schools. The compendium offers a portrait of India’s people, landscapes and diverse culture.

Georgia author Robert Arnett wrote both books.
