DeKalb, Atlanta police to hold crime-prevention workshop

Residents of central DeKalb County and Atlanta-in-DeKalb are invited to a crime-prevention breakfast and workshop Saturday at Drew Charter School, 301 East Lake Boulevard.
After an 8:30 a.m. breakfast, workshops will be offered from 9 a.m. to noon on working with the Atlanta and DeKalb police departments, as well as topics such as elder abuse, gangs and animal cruelty.
The meeting is sponsored by DeKalb District Attorney Gwen Keyes Fleming, Solicitor Robert James, Sheriff Thomas Brown, DeKalb Police Chief Terrell Bolton and Atlanta city council member Natalyn Mosby Archibong.
